TOMS RIVER -- Copies of public health assessments for the Reich Farm Superfund site and Dover Township's landfill will be available starting tonight at a meeting of the Citizens Action Committee on Childhood Cancer Cluster.

Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of the reports after tonight, according to the state Department of Health and Senior Services, can contact the department's Toms River field office at (732) 505-4188 or Consumer and Environmental Health Services section at (609) 633-2043.

Single copies of the reports will also be available tomorrow at the Ocean County Library's main branch on Washington Street in Toms River. The reports will also be posted on the health department's Web site at www.state.nj.us/health.

Written comments regarding the health assessments will be accepted until Oct. 1. Health officials will register each comment and also prepare a response.

The comments and the health department's response will be included in the final public health assessment for the two sites.

Written comments should be addressed to: New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Consumer and Environmental Health Services, ATSDR Project, P.O. Box 360, Trenton, NJ 08625-0360.
